Club car gas won't start

As Springbok says, I had the exact same problem and had taken the starter off to have it replaced. I used the battery charger to test the starter and it turned over fine. When battery was resting it was like 12.3v but under load from starter it dropped to 11.5. I replaced the battery and it worked fine.
If you take the starter off do a bench test with battery charger, cherger hot lead goes where large white wire was and black goes where large ground strap was and it should turn fine.
