Accelerator pedal travel
I've read several threads about pot box adjustment. I'm in the process of the 36-48v conversion on my 01 DS. I have an EZGO 0-5k pot which tests good. The problem is mounting the pot to get a full 5k. With my pedal fully depressed all i get is about 4.1k. If i try to adjust the linkage the pot will be off zero. Anyone else come across this? Does it matter if i don't get a full 5k? Thanks

Re: Accelerator pedal travel
Thanks joesam. I may have figured it out. I have a piece of aluminum bent to make a mount, and it looks like i may just have to mount the pot at an angle. Im in the fabrication phase. I'd post some pics but i cant figure out how to do it from this ipad. Im fairly computor literate, but im not doing something right.

Re: Accelerator pedal travel
No problem - when it comes to mechanical, sometimes it helps to think in 3D.
