Governor and RPM limiter
97 club car DS
I’m having issues after the motor is warming up once it gets hot it shuts down and back fires and then revs right back up and goes again if I press the pedal all the way down. It gets worse and worse the longer I drive to the point where I have to go about 1/2 throttle driving down the road. I’m going to disconnect rpm limiter and see if this helps but what are the dangers if I don’t replace it and is there any way to make it go faster without causing damage to the motor, I haven’t been able to find anything on it.
