Default Re: what truck loading ramps are good ?

I've got a set of 6ft ramps that I use to load a fourwheeler...it's pretty steep and I doubt the golf cart would make it. I was trying to figure out how to avoid buying another set of ramps, has anyone ever tried driving their truck up on a set of those oil change ramps? I have a set of those. That would lower the tailgate and maybe make the 6ft ramps work. If not I was going to look at at set of 2x8's but worried about whether they could hold the cart and me? Tailgate is about 36" from ground.

Go to your local Lowes, they have 8 ft arched ramps that is all you will need.

i use 2x10 4 ft long to load stuff on my tlr. Have loaded kubota 24 hp tractor, golf cart, ford escort, chevy celebrity, mazda pu, ford explorer sport. Have never had problems, but then my tlr is not a tall as a pu.

The problem is you will drag the bottom of the cart when you don't use arched ramps. Broke my brake pedal, but I learned.
