If that is the total pack voltage, it is WAY too low. You're located about 1.5-2 hours from my shop otherwise I would be able to have you bring the cart in.

Can you take individual battery voltage readings? You may have 1 or more bad batteries in that pack.

ok new test......

In a '95, all the batteries should be in the middle in 1 large group.

Start with the back battery on the passenger side. Place the Black Probe on the negative terminal of the first battery and the red probe on the negative terminal of the middle battery. Still reading 6+ volts?
Next go to the black probe on the middle rear battery and the red probe on the Drivers side negative post. Test voltage again. 6+?
continue in this method through the remainder of the pack. This is a quick way to verify that you are getting good power through the battery cables.

The next step is to place your black probe on the negative terminal of the rear passenger side battery and the red probe on the large post of the solenoid on the battery side of the solenoid. Check your reading.

Raise the rear wheels and support on jackstands (if you haven't already). turn the key on, cart in forward, move the red probe to the other large post of the solenoid and depress the accelerator pedal until the solenoid clicks. Still seeing the same voltage? If yes, the solenoid is good. If no, the solenoid is likely bad.

Ok, so i figured out what the problem is with my cart. My selenoid was fried... When i checked the voltage on the post, The post on the left side of the selenoid was 38.1, and stayed there when the accelerator pressed. The stud on the Passenger side of the selenoid was 38.1, and when the accelerator was pressed voltage went down to 00.1. I changed out the selenoid and i'm back in business.. So i went out yesterday and got a new set of batteries... I almost fried my selenoid again after i put the new batterys in. I was driving through the woods near my house, i came to a area that had sugar sand about 75 yards long. I got about 50 yards in and decided to abort the mission. so by the time i got back out of it i smelled electrical and the cart was getting slower, So i pulled the seat off and the plastic cover over the selenoid was really hot. I pulled the cover let the cart cool down for about 5 min, And she was good to go. So needless to say im gonna stay away from sugar sand, Unless i upgrade the motor and controller.

Glad you got it working! I wanted to pass on a tip Ive found on both my 1994's. Be sure to check the connections on the motor. You can probably see it at the rear of your batteries when the seat is tilted up. I have two 94's and they have both have had problems with the connection at one point or another.

yes, upgrade to a 400 AMP Alltrax, but you will have to upgrade wires/solenoid/F&R as well.
