Does not look like a clubcar # unless its a pre 1980's. If that is the only # you can find then send Clubcar an email quoing the transaxle serial # and they should be able to give you the info you need

The Serial #JG5-xxxxxx would be a Yamaha G9 gas cart... and the listing for JGXX-xxxxxx on a Club Car would make it a Transporter/Carryall 6 gas,
and yours is electric... Nothing listed under CC Caroche...

Could you post a picture of it?

Ok going to chime in on this thread if you don't mind. I'm an ez go kinda guy but a buddy of mine has a club car sitting in his garage and is looking to get rid of it. No idea what model and thinks it is a 78' here is the serial number A8720 118112. Been looking around this morning to see what I could fine on but have come up with nada. Ideas as to what cart this is and what it is worth? Thanks for the help in advance.

A = DS
87 = 1987
20 = 20th week of manufacture

It's all up in the stickies!

. . . if it needs batteries, being an 87, my guess is that it is not worth a lot . . . I paid $1500 for a 2006 DS with 1 year old batteries about 18 months ago . . . batteries are the biggest expense on these things . . . best to search Craigslist nationwide to get an idea of what they are selling for. . . you can search here:

Thanks for the link Steve. My thought would be it might be worth $600 to $800 at best..
