. . . if you remove the keyswitch plate (one screw on each side, under plastic button cover) there should be another CC serial number plate there on the right side . . .

That's a pre-96, Club Car DS!
Judging from the canopy (roof), aluminum struts, and the rear fender protectors!

Most likely, there won't be a serial number ID under the dash!

Don you do not think I should keep digging for a # that jives with a club car ID? That JGXX serial # I found under dash a rebuilt #? If pre-96 DS is all I need to get parts for this thing I'm OK with that. Opinions??

In the "stickies", at the bottom of Roady's first post shows a "pdf" of the full Club Car serial number line,

And the JG5# doesn't come up with any electric carts... not even remanufactured,
Judging by the body, and accessories, and from what you've said about the metal riveted tag, IMO... it's a pre-96!

You can look if you want though! here's where, and what... the second tag should look like:

If it's a pre-96... it's a good one to upgrade! but, there is no other tag!
However... there are other things to look for to tell it's approximate age! (resistor coils, or type of controller... ect.)
