96 cc regent1...bucking
Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen;
i have a 96 cc with regent 1 system. I have replaced the gas pedal pot. With a mcor update that mounts on the pass. Side rail. I have replaced the cables with all 4 gauge wires. Just in the last 2 weeks i have been having a 'bucking' sensation with the pedal to the floor. When you first pull away it runs fine for the first 50 yards and then it slows down and starts to buck but will take you where you want to go. It almost feels like a sparkplug misfire in a car engine.(i am a retired auto tech.) i have checked the batteries after overnite charge (50.7) each battery (8.5-8.4) when driving the voltage drops to constant 46-47 volts and bucks. I have disconnected the regent systen as when this started whenever you let off pedal the cart would drag down drastically. The mcor is 1.5 years old. I forgot where the date code is on the trojan batteries. This problem is 2 weeks old and the wife is now afraid to drive...please help.bob |

if you havn,t yet ........load test each battery , holding voltage means nothing if one fails under load and it sounds a bit like what might be going on......................
