Batteries Boiling Over
I have a 2008 Precedent, (4) 12 volt US Batteries. When I charge the cart the batteries boil over a little bit. I mean a little water on top of the battery. I check the water level of the batteries before charging and the water of all the cells are below the fill tube, so they should not be over full. Right? The volts of each battery after charge and at least 12 hours of rest read between 12.57 to 12.61. I purchase this cart this fall so I really don't know how old the batteries are. But according the the State of Charge Chart they are about 90%. They are US Batteries with caps that cover multiple cells. They is not individual caps for each cell. Does anyone else have this problem? Do I need to get new battery caps?

Re: Batteries Boiling Over
. . . next time fill cells just 1/4" above plates . . that way during "gassing" (boiling), water won't seep out of vents . . .
