Radio in my G8 Help!!!!

Ok so i installed a radio into my cart. I plugged the power direct to the battery with a switch inline. When i hit the gas to go it resets the radio. Im guessing it's because of the starter draw? I would need a capacitor? Is there any other way? What is everyone else doing?

Weak battery is first check. You are correct that starter draw is whats causing it.
