I'm guessing homebrew part. I'm I seeing 4 bolts thru the spindle? That part is not OEM Yamaha, or part of a Jakes lift.

The Jakes lift uses all stock front suspension parts. Only the spindles are replaced.

I determined the part wasn't oem by looking at the diagram. Then watched a video of them installing the jakes kit on their site, that bracket was on the spindle, so assuming it comes with the kit, just not pictured.

A hole out the edge of the part, that sure is half baked. Maybe its a different lift, do they show parts for others?

Sorry, I thought you had the 6" lift. Didn't realize there is a big difference between the 6" and 3" spindles...

Carry on...

Thanks I was getting confused.

Waiting on jakes to email me back. If I don't get an email this morning I'll call them and hopefully get the part shipped out.

Ordered the part, cost me $59 shipped. A lot for a little bracket.

Hopefully I can just bolt it on and be good to go though!

Should be simple replacement.

This reminds me of so many good stories. One time this crazy old lady who drank a lot ran her cart into a tree backwards, very late at night, and she was the passenger...with her foot on the gas. Next morning she is after me to look at it before her husband sees it. I look and its bent way in bumper hitting the tire. So I end up chaining the cart to a tree and taking off, bang! Its not working, get 20' chain and go WOT and step off the cart at last second. BANG! cart flies up in air about 2'! I laughed so hard had to regroup. Did that like ten times laughing so hard, but bent it back it was 95% normal. Wow was that a funny morning.
