Default G2 Vibration

I have a G2 with a driving vibration that seems to be worse at higher speeds.
I removed the belt, and ran the engine unloaded, and no vibration at any engine speed. I put a new belt on and greased the secondary clutch. I also saw that the engine limiter cable was pretty loose, and it has some adjustment, so I took most of the slack out of that. If anything, I think I made the vibration worse.
If you jack it up and run it with the belt on, the engine does move rearward as the clutch works.
How do I better diagnose and pinpoint where my problem is on this? It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the tires, as the frequency is higher than that.

I agree with Ray -- sounds like you may need some engine mounts. Replace all 4 at one time.

There is a strap to keep the engine from going backwards at high speed

How do you determine the condition of the motor mounts?

What clutch is on it? Gold cover? If so check for a broken weight

Far as I know the mount will disconnect, you can lift it up. I would also look closely at the secondary it could be damaged or the center bushing out, any wobble in that will make vibration. Same for primary clutch take the cover off and check the weights. Also you could have a chunk out of the belt or other damage, I have had sticks get locked in the belt before. Less common but if your clutches are really worn they can wear through and get holes on the belt surface.

Bright or silver. I thought maybe not the primary since it doesn't vibrate with the belt off.

Old and new belt both did it. Clutch doesn't look all that worn. I don't see wobble.
