None of the inputs have any direct control of the solenoid, the logic board decides when to turn it on. And the logic board will turn it on every single time the tow run switch is flipped to run (if the logic board is good and has battery voltage and input from tow run switch)

when flipping from tow to run does the solenoid lock on or

just a quick on-off click (like a test) thanx in advance

i noticed no 250 ohm resistor or diode across solenoid

so i ordered new controller from fsip fed ex lost it

already paid for of course.........waiting for fedex to settle with fsip

I wonder why you would choose a controller from FSIP rather than Alltrax. You just need a laptop to program the XCT and it performs very well on the drive. With the 1268 upgrade you need a 1313 programmer just to make program adjustments. Don't get me wrong, I have a 1268 in my CC and it performs very well; but I also spent way too many $$ for the programmer. I have since installed six XCT's, three in G29's and I am ready to replace my 1268 with an XCT. Consider getting your $$ back, if they will let you, and going with an XCT. Lots of good info on the XCT on this site.

i am fsip dealer this is not my cart for a customer

also alltrax cant be repaired.......finally got controller from fsip

(2nd one) 1st was lost.......installed and cart runs GREAT! the controller is an exact yamaha replacement no programming needed

i like your reply///// the controller i bought from fsip is not a 1268 but a yamaha clone... next time i will try alltrax thanx loads for advice
