Default Alltrax install makes cart go SLOW

I just installed in all tracks for hundred amp controller that's been dial back the 300 amp. I got everything hooked up and initially it was going in reverse when I wanted to go forward so I had to switch the wires around. But now it goes about 5 miles an hour, which is super slow. What could be wrong?

I believe another member had a similar issue. I think his problem was some bent pins on the big plug of the controller.

Seemed like it was the rpm setting was checked. I unchecked it and it goes 20-22 MPH!

The speed limit was set to 6000 RPM. Does that sound high?

It is higher than mine, my motor supplier gave me setup instructions and I believe I am at 4900. This may be just to limit my speed as I asked for a top speed of 24mph.

I don't know how it could have been going 6000 RPM because it was going about 1/2 speed it was when it was stock. Hopefully today I can monitor parameters while driving to see what actual RPM is at.

That is the behaviour when the speed sensor is not working.

Make sure the speed sensor is plugged in, if it is plugged in, it is not working (sending pulses).

Does the stock controller use the speed sensor? Just wondering why installing alltrax controller would've made the sensor go bad unless it's been bad for a while.
