Re: Help with identifying model!
Thanks cgtech and yamahaguy97
Cgtech, that's reassuring, over the weekend I mounted my gps on the cart just to see what speeds it was doing and interesting enough on the flat rd it was doing 17.9- 18.4 mph which I'm happy with but thought that was on the higher end of normal! Not complaining lol! |

Re: Help with identifying model!
Based on tire size, I would say that PTV speed code is not unlocked. So you could do that for a little more speed if desired. Might get 23-25mph.

Re: Help with identifying model!
How do you unlock the PTV code? Is that a dealer thing?

Re: Help with identifying model!
Dealer only. Each factory controller has a unique PTV speed code. Yamaha knows it, no one else does until the dealer orders it from Yamaha.

Re: Help with identifying model!
Yeah it's interesting, you hold a sensor attachment you plug in your laptop or device very close to the other sensor you plug in the harness to the left of the tow/run switch. I think it costs 100 dollars for the code but I don't remember

Re: Help with identifying model!
We have only had a handful of people ask to have the speed upgraded
