RPM Limiter
What is the factory rev. limiter set at on my 05' Precedent with the FE290?

I think I recall reading somewhere around 3800 RPM but I really can't recall where I read that. I don't think that number is actually published anywhere...
The "mass market" FE290 with the mechanical governor does specify 4000 RPM as max high idle (no load) but obviously things change as you add a load to an engine... |

I can say my tach tops out at 4k max and the thing hasn't kicked in yet.

OK well i got a cheap digital tach that I am going to hang out it to keep an eye on it to make sure I'm not over spinning it.

On the DS models it's set at 3,000 rpm.
