Crankshaft should be perfectly fine
 I don't recall thread pitch off the top of my head, but you should be able to just match the clutch bolt up to a tap |

That’s great news, got it all tore down today and looks like crank will need to be milled. Piston had good movement, I’d say not bad for $150 purchase..
Hopefully that clutch replacement won’t be too much. Thanks again for your help, look forward to this forum daily for helpful advice. |

It's rare the crankshafts ever need work. If you had play at the connecting rod at the crank then usually its just a worn rod.
Check the counterbalance weight link rods carefully for play also. Theyll knock like crazy and make all sorts of noise. |

1996 was a changeover year,
early 96's are counter clockwise rotation, and late year 96's are clockwise rotation, so you'll need to order parts based on that. If you haven't figured out the bolt pitch is yet, it's 3/8-24 standard thread for early 96, and 3/8-24 (left hand/reverse thread) for late 96. |

Mine is CCR, boy I’m having a heck of a time finding clutch replacement I hammered off. (See in post#1, shaft and inner sleeve)
Everything I find when researching only says for 97 and up? Can someone point me in the right direction please? |

On my 93 carryall I used an aftermarket clutch for 97 and up I got off amazon for 100 bucks. Works great.
I've compared my old 93 clutch to one I took off an 98 and internally cannot discern any type of difference. I've had no problems with my newer model clutch on my 93 and been running it for about 6 months now. If you want an OEM clutch, contact david hicks at revolution golf cars (site sponser). To the best of my knowledge the difference between the 92 to 96 vs the 97 up clutch is the diameter of the pulley for the starter generator belt. Early version is smaller diameter and takes a different belt.

The pulley is held on by 3 bolts and easily swapped also. I've got a few spares of varying sizes
