How to safely make the cart go faster
Hey folks...
I was wondering how I could make my 2000 DS go a little faster...in the safest way possible. I'm aware of loosening the 11mm bolt on the governor arm then turning the little pin, but I doubt that's really the safest method. Can anyone guide us on how to make the thing go faster so as to not blow up the engine or anything else like that? We just installed a new starter generator and don't want to ruin that either! Thanks! -A |

I did the zip tie thing on mine and picked up an extra 5mph....planning to install a tach to make sure I don't over-stress the engine.....

Re: How to safely make the cart go faster
ok thanks for the advice folks. will try the zip tie tomorrow.
Curious though...how exactly is this method safer than turning the pin on the governor arm? I'm not mechanically sound on small motors so just want to know for my own knowledge. |
