Default Can I get rid of exhaust valve on G1

I am looking to get gte rid of the exhaust valve on my G1 its spittin oil out of it can I just bypass the valve? also what Carb could I swap out my stock carb with I have heard that a yamaha blaster carb will fit?

yes , i cut mine out !but left the little plugs on the side ,and they blew out when i cranked it up and i had to weld the holes shut . otherwise no other problems

hey ,you may want to look at the sticky bbq muffler. if you have a clogged muffler with oil coming out of it ?

I've read where the exaust valve helps engine run better at low speeds.If oil is coming out of the exaust I think it would be over oilingGOOD LUCK

Yeah Im looking into removing the valve but I do alot of hill climbing so I would not want it to effect the bottom end it is usually ran wide open most of the time Ill give it a shot and see how it works out
