Cleaning corrison?
Good morning all,
Got a quick question about cleaning/removing oxcidation. The cart I picked up was used around saltwater.. So of course some of the contacts and such have some corrision on them.. The frame and bed (94 Carryall) seems to be ok, don't see a whole lot of pitting. I have already pressured washed the under carriage and motor compartment. Is there anything I should spray on the unit to stop electrolosis of any remaining salt that I may have missed? What about the contacts and such... Can anyone recommend a cleaner/preventative or corrision? Thanks, Cart's running great after a carb rebuild and idle adjustment. Next on the list will be to fix corrision and clean the tank? Now that I think about it, why do these tanks get what looks like alge in them? Is it because they use so little fuel? How should I clean that stuff out? The alge that is.
