shorted ignition switch now solinoid just clicks

1994 club car gas, was installing lights..... checked for hot wire on ignition switch, touched ground{yes I'm an idiot} now all that happens is my solinoid clicks// and buzzes. I checked fuse good// test light is hot on the power side but is dim on the little screw and when i hit the gas it goes out..... also the white and white/black wires on switch have no juice. looks like they are for the nuetral safety switch so I dont know if they should be hot........ any help would be great........ worked fine until dum *** tried to hook up lights

even though the solenoid still clicks have you tried jumping the large post on it to see if cart will turn over? if not try that...........also you don,t have the cart in maintence mode do you.................................

Checked your battery and cables

checked battery with my charger showed 100%, all the tests I ran on the solinoid passed.. made no sence threw some jumpers on it from my car, stared right up......... poped the caps off the battery, dry as a bone. Filled the battery next morning all is good. A wise man once told me start with the basics......... thanks for the help

just fyi if it was real low your battery could be over charging and burning the water off so watch fluid level.
