Adding Headlights
I have a EZGO 1981 Marathon it has the plastic front end that I think is the same as the 1988 to 1994. How can I be sure that the Complete Light Kit for 1988-1994.5 EZGO Marathon Models will fit? To me they look the same but not sure. This is a link to the light kit I would like to install. http://www.buggiesunlimited.com/prod...T%20EZ1%202002
This is a picture of my 1981 cart. I am confused I am new to golf carts but I have not seen a 1981 EZGO that looks like this. Thanks Chuck |

Re: Adding Headlights
I just bought the same kit last October for $130 + shipping. It didn't come with a switch or wiring though.

Re: Adding Headlights
Your cart has the raised center section front cowl. I also think your cart is newer. My 88 has the same cowl. I purchased this exact kit. I think it will fit. This kit comes with all wiring and switch. No tail ights. I purchased two round 2" LED sid e marker lights that I'm going to use as tail lamps. They install in a round hole with a rubber grommet to hold them in.

Re: Adding Headlights
Plastic nose is easy to install. You should remove the dash, there are lock nuts behind the dash tray that need to be removed. I have mine off right now as I am doing some body work and repainting over the winter. The previous owner drilled some holes in the cowl to mount accessories to. My gas tank is in the engine compartment. But my muffler is mounted vertically llike yours.

Re: Adding Headlights
I'm thinking that this is a 81 that someone replaced the cowl with a 88 to 94 parts. I wish I could find someone that could tell me what years had the gas tank behind the seat and battery on the drivers side.
