Default New style single cushion seatback on 1996 DS?

Is the new style single seatback a simple "bolt on" for a 1996 Club Car DS?

My 96 DS currently has 2 individual seatback's for the front seat, and the since the support frame for the roof looks the same for the 2001.5+ DS carts, I was hoping that replacing my dual seatbacks with the newer single seatback was a simple bolt-in.

Also, for some reason my current seat bottom is a 2001.5+ with the "cut outs" for the plastic hand rails, the perfectly rectangular one that my friend ordered for his 1996 DS is too wide to fit the opening on my DS.

Hi Kow, I'll check later but I'm pretty sure that the roof supports were changed in 1996. They went from plain alloy to black and also they were angled differently at the top to prevent the earlier problem of the roof splitting at the bolt mounting points. A different roof was also fitted at this time along with the molded grab rails which earlier were tubular alloy covered in a plastic / vinyl wrap.
