The bolt pattern where steering column mounts through the floor onto sector.

Or it is an ST cart. I believe some of them used the 3 bolt for a while past 01.

what ya mean? i have a old marathon and i just ordered jakes 6209 kit for 01 and up,with the new steering gear box myself,,and will be going with the 2001.5 and up 4 bolt ezgo collum so it will hook straight to the jakes kit im told..
i havent got the collum yet just incase i can modify my old 85 one to work tho..but i have all the part numbers to save some cash..a 4 bolt "new"collum and shaft is around a buck,,the guts are around 20-30 or less from ezgo..

seems like your doing this wrong..if you have a 3 bolt collum cart you can get a kit for a lot less, but you wont get the new gear box with it..
if you go with the pt#6209 for a gas cart and 6221 for electric"for 2001 and up" they cost more and come with the new gear box..this is what i went with as i wanted the all new steering..i just have to make it work on my 85..and will prob have to get the newer 4 bolt collum so the lift with the new box will hook right up to it with no mods..hope this helped..

Well really they are both 3 bolt but one has one more

3 bolt has the steering box mounted to the frame and stays there, 4 bolt the steering box is bolted to the axle so I guess new box

the reason i asked is because the steering box on mine is a 3 bolt on the axle ...my 94 marathon had a 3 bolt mounted to the frame...

3 bolt column with the steering box on the front axle ? I tried to find some of your pics but got tired of looking.. You have the square tube axle of the big C axle ? or look here http://www.shopezgo.com/golf-cart/St...es/Front-Axles
