![]() GAC did you ever find out what was making the noise and you did you ever find out what was making. The noise in your valve train I have a 1987 that is doing the same thing I replace the exhaust valve and intake valve both of them are set at .006 four valve lash i'm at a loss Any help would be greatly appreciated

![]() Might not be your valves then. A few months before my cart's motor blew (a 1987 Club Car just like yours) the motor sounded like it had an exhaust leak. Then it got louder and louder. Looking back I could have described it as a ticking noise. You may be in the early stages of your connecting rod coming loose and planning its exit.
