Won't always start
I have a 4 cycle ezgo that does not engage/start all the time. It does nothing when the pedal is pushed. Sometimes if you wait a little while it will start. Sometimes if you start shaking all the wires or shifting the shifter back and forth it will start. No rhyme or reason to what it takes to make it start again.

Re: Won't always start
I had the same problem. Ended up taking the starter/generator out. Found a wire connected to a lug on the bottom was loose and had almost melted the lug off. I cleaned good, made a spacer to get the connection off the bad part of the lug and it has been good to go since.

Re: Won't always start
So far on mine (first time cart owner) every time there is a problem with starting it has been a bad ground/connection.
