EZ GO TXT Wiring diagram?

Hi everyone-

I have a 1998 TXT I installed a stretch kit on, and I know I have some of the accessories wired wrong, including the key switch and factory battery gauge.

Does anybody have a wiring diagram for this year model TXT? It is a series cart. (Obviously it wouldn’t be a PDS being a ‘98.)

Here is an accessory wiring diagram. It includes turn signals and all so it gets complicated especially if you're adverse to looking at these things like me.

When dealing with the factory battery meter remember that is technically hot(on) all the time but it's illumination is switched through the 36/48v side of the key switch. When wired correctly the meter illuminates only when the key switch is on and the cart is in F or R (not in neutral).

EZGO and Curtis SOC meter wiring


This is for the Ezgo and Curtis meters:
Pin 1 = Battery +
Connects to the vehicle’s main positive (+) terminal.
Pin 2 = Battery –
Connects to the vehicle’s main negative (–) terminal
Note: Pins 1 & 2 are connected across the total
battery pack.
Pin 3 = No Option, Pin 3 is left open.
Pin 4 = Keyswitch
Connects to Battery + through the switched terminal of the
keyswitch.

Also here is a couple of diagrams from Alltax. Should be nearly identical to factory. If you have A2 on your controller we can answer questions if needed. A2 is optional, wasn't used on all factory carts and not used by Alltrax. A2 goes directly from motor to F/R switch if no A2 on controller.

Thank you everyone for the diagrams. I was able to get everything wired and working with the diagrams, and the battery meter, lights, key, and horn are now working properly.

where does the red wire on the charge meter actually connect to pick up the 36 volt + signal

I see that in the diagram for accessories but does it go to the pos batt post or on the solenoid or someplace else? my meter is not getting a batt pack + signal and I cant find the red wire that carries that signal to the meter
