But the real reason is because I don't want to be haggled... I'd end up getting questioned by the wife and kids about why my new install never goes to 100%... "You spend all this time and spend all this $ and the cart never goes above 98%! "...
It took me 10 years to teach my better half the cart needs to be plugged in at 48v. Now we are starting over with a percentage gauge but I left the voltmeter in the dash also.

Hey Sir sorry to hijack your post. I have a question for you about a charger I bought from you a few years ago but I can't PM you on here anymore. Is there a good way to ask you this question outside of this post?

Quick question... for the the max amp draw change, is that referring to the Max amature amps, Max motor amps, or both?

Thanks!

I set the 300a limit on the battery (draw) and the armature. I think the batter draw is the critical setting here. You could even set it a little lower for a margin of safety. One customer decided on 275 amps and we got no complaints from him.
One thing I've seen from reading the monitor files is how low the actual amperage use is for most driving situations. There are occasional spikes in amperage use but they are short in duration.

I have a tracker EVIS 72V with dual motors. I want to go lithium as my batteries age. Do you have a kit for this?
