Default 1981 G1 Almost ready for Paint update

Thanks to Agele55 and Mikeasis for their past help, i have not had to ask any questions lately. Still trying to get new paint but it just always seems i have too many projects going. 4wheeler, pontoon, jet skis, 1971yamaha 125 enduro, etc etc. Anyway, thought i would send a pic of what i now call the Grey Ghost. And yes, i have been riding it through the neighborhood with no shame. My wife says she is not riding on it until i have paint and seats on it lol.

BLUE LIGHTNING ROCKS! Looking good. Nice to see it back among the living. Oddly enough, I’ve been eying those same seats on Amazon, but with a splash of yellow to go a long with my yellow scheme. Do You like the way the seats fit and feel?

yes, i saw some online reviews of them being a little small and not enough padding but i really like the way they fit the G1 seat mounting areas. I'm going to add some white racing stripes and some diamond plating. For the price, they are hard to beat from an appearance and fit. I drilled new holes and mounted them straight to the fiberglass and used large washers for added support.

I also had to burn out the exhaust, it got to smoking pretty bad after i run it hard enough to get exhaust hot.
