Nice cart! That body looks exceptionally clean which will make it a breeze to paint. Mine was a little rough and I had to strip all the old paint off with paint stripper which kinda sucked. G9s do rule! Love the body style. They really start to look great with some lift and better wheels/tires! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Thank you! I have been following your build and it’s turning out really nice! Will post my findings with the tire rub once I receive the Vegas cart swing arm brackets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Grantspec’s Yamaha G9 Rebuild
My wife got me a rear seat for Christmas couldn’t wait until the day to open it [emoji23]
Also added headlights and tail lights. Still haven’t figured out the transmission noise! Also waiting on some heavier springs to arrive for the rear so that it won’t run with 2 people in the back. I ordered the McMaster Carr springs that were recommended by another forum member. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Grantspec’s Yamaha G9 Rebuild
Looks great. Looks a lot like mine, same color even :)
I used a top from a club car DS. Front mounts very similar to the G9 top, and rear I just cut the posts so they are straight and mount to the seat side supports. Works great! |

Thank you! It was definitely not a great starting point. And if I were to add up the parts than I’m sure I could’ve bought a later model cart that was already driving. But it is been fun to work on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

But now you know what to look for if another one becomes available!! |
