Default G1 starts when cold with no choke. Normal?

Hi all. After sitting all night my G1 will have no problem starting in the morning without choking it. Previous owner told me that it had recently been rebuilt but I really don't have any proof. Could this be an indication that it has newer crank seals and good compression from a newer top end? The cart runs like a champ.

An engine would have to be in top shape to start cold without using the choke. As long as it runs good warm- not running too rich- go with it.

Yes...completely normal and should reassure you that the motor has new seals in it. Mine does the same thing and doesnt miss a lick!
