Replacement Shocks for Stock 1988 ezgo gas
Has anyone found any replacement shocks for a 1988 marathon gas? I have found the stock shocks from ezgo but I was wondering if anyone has found any aftermarket replacements possibly from an auto parts store? If so do you have a part number or application? I stopped by my local parts store and they don't have an information on length etc. I did a search but I didn't come up with anything, but I rarely find what I need through the search feature on any website, maybe its me? Thanks in advance.

So I am guessing by no replys that there are not any aftermarket shocks available for a gas marithon cart.

I was mainly looking for something cheaper, and aftermarket is usually better. I didn't know if someone has found a car application for shocks that work on the marathon carts.

I bought my replacement shocks from Bugigies and have been very happy with them so far. I usually don't like to buy aftermarket because I was told the parts are inferior, don't know if that is true but don't want to chance it.

Re: Replacement Shocks for Stock 1988 ezgo gas
I had a 80 model and was able to use some shocks from an older Mustang. I got them at Napa. Not sure if your cart has the same style shocks on it or not but it would be something to look into. I have a post on here somewhere with the part numbers of the shocks that I used on the front and rear. I will see if I can find it.

I haven't been able to find the part numbers as of yet. But I'm still looking. Don't give up hope yet.
How does your shocks hook up. Do they have shock eyes on both ends or just one end? |

Rear Shocks have eyes on both ends. Front shocks have a stud on each end.
