Will a 4x8 trailer fit my EZGo?
Hi,
My friend has a simple Harbor Freight trailer for sale and Im wondering what you guys thought about towing my cart with it? Here's the URL: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=90154 I figured I can build some ramps cheap and tie the cart down and I should have no problem. Thoughts? |

Can it handle 1,200 lbs? If so, then 4x8 is all you need for a standard golf cart...

The trailer is rated to 1195 pounds, but I've been told my cart weighs less than a thousands. Its an 80's EZGo 2-stroke with a robin engine.

That trailer does not require ramps..it tilts to the ground.
Looks like a nice one. |

Better use a tape measure & check it out for yourself. The front wheels of my Marathon will fit on my buddies' HF trailer, but the back wheels don't even come close.

Two things, he said the used one was cheap, we all like cheap when it works.
How far/fast will he be towing. Again when this stuff comes up we should ask the right questions, even if it riles the poster. |

This is for hauling once a year, from San Francisco to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada and thats it. I'd like to haul around 60 - 65 miles an hour.
