Looks great Scotty!!! Workhorses are great. This will make a great project for the winter, if you can wait that long. what are your plans for this thing and how much did you pick it up for if you don't mind me asking?

scottyb never buys and tells. He just says stuff like "too much for some, not enough for others", or "I'd be embarrassed to say". :)

True, True. SP. I would be very much embarassed to say what I gave for this little cart

I got into it a bit after work today.... The cab was way too heavy and even without the doors it weighed like 200 pounds.... So off it came....Hard to believe the cart is only 8 yrs old....it has 20 yrs of dirt in it
SO once the roof was off I gabbed the charger and some gas With little coaxing (and a new filter) it fired right up and purred like a kitten The govenor has the factory seal tab on it and the throttle linkage only goes 3/4 the way...so I guess she has never been raced or run WOT.....The clutch in question didgrab the belt and lurch in F & R but, the test was incomplete as I was on a very short cord
I'm charging up a battery and plan on a maiden voyage tomorrow. WooHoo!

Good luck with it. Sounds like it is turning out to be an even better find than you may have initially thought.

Plus you have an enclosure to sell and recoup all your money probably. LOL

I am jealous

the enclosure was a bolt together kit...a million bolts. Well lots of vibration fatigue cracks in the cab so I just scraped it Plus i didn't have the doors & one curved sidelite missing.....don't be too jellied! It looks rough in need of lots of work and some $$$ too

Why was it so dirty. What did they do to it ??

Sounds like you've found your favorite cart Scotty.
