EZGO PDs with a different non PDS motor

Hello and Glad to be apart of this form which is very informal by the way. I have a 2003 EZGO pds Regen and just did an upgrade with Alltrex 400amp controller 400amp solenoid 2awg wires, 14s nissan leaf batteries. It does 25 to 30mph with 10" rims ands tires

I also Have a 2001 Yamaha gulf cart, that I gutted and put a EZGO txt 36v controller and ITS peddle with fwd & Rev switch. This thing does 19mph with no problem and got some good kick from a launch with Stock lead acid batteries. I have notice that the motor says 8k rpm max and I have search and found the EZGO only does 4k and some rpm.My question is Can I put this motor in my 2003 and get a whole lot more speed and torque? or should I just swap the whole rear end?

the fact that the motor is tagged/labeled that its good to 8k rpm.....does NOT mean that it will make your cart go faster.....it just means it will handle higher rpms without coming apart.
