Bad speed sensor or something else?
I just bought an 09 CC precedent and it starts off running fine then it feels like a govenor kicks in and then speeds back up. It does this the whole time with the pedal fully depressed. Forwards and backwards. Been reading through different posts and thought it my be the speed sensor but I did the speed sensor push test and the brake and the buzzer worked just like it was suppose to. Now I'm not so sure. If it is the speed sensor then I would like to try the digi-key for it and save a ton of money but not sure about the whole process of installing it.
Any help would be much appreciated! |

The MCOR is the motor controller output regulator that is attached to the go pedal. It is located directly under the cart under where the passengers feet would be. Here is a thread explaining how to test it and if it is bad, you can get a used one for 70 bucks...
