Re: Interstate Battery Question
I'm no battery expert, but don't batteries have several ratings? We typically talk about the 20 hour rating, but is it possible someone's mixing apples and oranges when quoting specs?

Re: Interstate Battery Question
You're right, there are a lot of different ratings for batteries and apples may be being compared to oranges.
There also might be an 8V battery with a 260AH rating at some discharge rate, but will it fit in a golf cart's battery rack? Hopefully, the OP will post the model number of the batteries he is talking about and clear the fog. |

Re: Interstate Battery Question
FOG is clearing! I got the model number that he has priced. GC-8-XHD-UTL. 183 @20 being 183A as stated by others. I was looking at the specs and it states 99 plates while several others have 12. How does this compare to the Trojen T-890?

Re: Interstate Battery Question
Also weigh about the same (67lbs vs 69lbs for the T-890).
Heavier is better. |

Re: Interstate Battery Question
Just 'cause I can't help it...
In the 60's, I bought a microscope that was West German made, 'cause it was the best. I know "Made in the USA" is considered to be patriotic, but I'd rather buy something that stays out of the recycling bin or the landfill, than ... |
