Grinding and slams into reverse
okay I have a 1997-98 ezgo 4 stroke marathon cart grinds when going into reverse .I have checked hubs passenger side may be a little bad but sounds like grinding is in rearend axles look good any ideas as to what it could be?

Possibly the selector cables are out of adjustment. Any leaks on rear end/axle assembly? Hows the rear end oil level?

All that stuff looks good those cables one was run underneath the motor and looks like it may have been pinched
I take it these rearends are pretty durable? |

Yes in that year model they are pretty solid. Grab the service guide in the tech section and double check the cable routing and adjustment.

Thanks SCCOWBOY it is a 1993 I have the rearend on the bench and I don't hear the grind turning by hand and the shift selector works free and easy so I will try the cables I got them out and they are pretty beat up .
