Club car Charging system help
Just changed the starter generator and voltage regulator in my 1990 club car ds and when I hit the gas the volts go to 16/17 v. I reinstalled the old voltage regulator and the same thing happens i also mirrored the wire setup of the old generator . Also im not sure if the screw on the back is grounding the regulator (the screw comes from the trigger terminal DF)

Re: Club car Charging system help
I’m not sure what you mean by a screw on the back?
If the DF post is grounded the SG goes to full output. The Yellow wire from the voltage regulator needs to be connected to the DF post. Make sure no part of the wire terminal or the wire itself is touching any part of the case of the SG. |
