Default Club car ds 48v lithium lights don’t work

Just finished the install of an extreme team 48v lithium and now my brakelights, headlights, and radio no longer works.

You probably need a 48V to 12V reducer. Your cart may not have had one before the conversion.

The battery has a 12v option on it. Do I connect the wire to one of those? Previously I had 6 8v batteries

I would guess so but I go by wiring diagrams. So I don't know what you mean by "The Wire".
