Default 93 DS - starting/running issues

Cart was running fine a month ago. Using some oil, but would start and go.

Then it began oil fouling plugs and needed oil every 3 or 4 days.

Then, with a cleaned plug, it got to the point it would start and run, but after a couple minutes it would sputter and die. Restart and repeat.

Finally it died and wouldn't run.

Been reading here and everything pointed to a failing/failed fuel pump.

Bought a replacement from a site sponsor, the owner installed the new pump and no fuel output.

Vacuum checked and it pulses instead of sucks. Is that right?

I'm open to suggestions ....

Further research answered that question.

Sounds like your motor is worn out. Check the compression.

Compression test was 110 psi. What's it supposed to be?

93 should be a FE290 which should be 165+ psi.

If you've got the KF82 "flat head" motor then 110psi is perfect, but 93 should be a FE290.

A shout-out to eCart Parts, a site sponsor.

Had an issue with a part that I ordered and they were quick to respond and make the problem right once again.

Awesome site sponsor.

Just out of curiousity, which motor do you have, the KF82 flathead or FE290?
