intermittent spark is hard to nail down on a forum. You will need the correct plug set at the correct gap for starters. Then see what is happening. When does the spark quit? When it is cold? After it warms up?

After the plug, also check the plug boot as well.
Isolate the motors electrical system from the cart and see what you have.
On the front lower part of the engine, disconnect the grounding wire from the carts electrical system that kills the coil when pedal is released.
If you still have issues then I would lean toward the coil under the blower shroud.
Those seem to go out more often than the ignitor that is mounted behind the rev limiter.

If the problem clears up then check the lower of the two micros in the black box under the seat.
The lower micro kills the coil when pedal is released and if bad or faulty it could cause intermittent or no spark.

I've got the same problem with a 2001? We have replaced all the micros and still?
