A couple pictures!!

Ok, getting back to this; The top had a lot of rake to it that I did't like when I got the car, so I think I lowered the rear around 2" and raised the front about 2 1/2"!! That made it come out almost level with the kick panel!!

The best top is just like the one you have Mike. I love the aluminum around the outside of the top.

I also like the tops with aluminum edging, they were so universal. I can't find them for sale anymore To any G8er that is converting to a G14 and up front cowel, I'm pretty shure (not at work today, need to burn some vacation time) I have 1 weld on bracket for locating the windsheild studs thru the body holes. Let me know if anyone would like it.

Friend of mine has one of those tops on a stock G2. Late 80's, early 90's maybe.

I wish my fabricated bracket was a weld-on type. Seems it would be more solid, maybe? I've never liked how floppy gold cart roofs are.

Didn't have to cut my roof supports at all. They were already 2 separate unattached pieces. And I had plenty room to just move the fronts forward and re-drill holes.

Now my G16 supports are 2 pieces with a slip-joint where they connect.

I have an extra G2 top with the aluminum around it. It's in great shape for the age.

I've got that G16 cowl that Tom brought me. I'd like to put that new cowl on, loose the winch and bumper and repaint the cart.
