G1 front lift question
OK, so I've searched the forum for hours and found several pics of how people have made plates to lift the front of their G1 a few inches.
My question is what are you doing with the steering mechanism? I haven't found any info as to whether that needs to be lengthened as well. Thanks!! |

Re: G1 front lift question
I am kind of in the same boat I am having the plates all cut for the 4" front lift but I am not real sure on how I am going to raise the tie rod ends I am not sure if I am going to make some with angle plate or switch to heim joints and use bolts and tube spacers like 2" at wheel and 2" at gearbox.

Re: G1 front lift question
I've seen some where they cut the steering arm off the bottom of the spindle & weld it back on the top . Hope this helps.
