1986 EZGO reverse piezo problem
I was able to get my cart running after rewiring half of the cart with new wires and undoing the handywork of the previous owner. I changed the cart to 3-12V marine batteries and the cart runs fine. I have two issues that I am trying to fix still. One is that the Piezo buzzer is going off as soon as I connect the battery negative lead whether in forward or reverse. Is this a wiring issue on the microswitches, contact issue or is it a voltage problem to the buzzer because now I am running 12 volts per battery compared to 6 volts per battery? Just wondering if the voltage would be an issue at all or if that has 36 volts going to it anyway. Thanks I am also looking for a replacement switch that has an accessories and a lights terminal that are separate that would fit a snap in connector that the previous owner used. Thanks.
