I believe at the beginning of the 2010 model run. You really can't miss the reducer if it's installed. It sits under the driver side of the seat.

Four dead carts on the course today.

For me that's 2 hours of wasted time, and why I did not get gone until 9 PM, almost two hours after dark.

This is getting old fast.

I really do need specifics about RXV problems, and will provide an email address for anyone that is dealing with similar issues.

Anonymous posts on the internet are not very credible with my pro or with our E Z Go dealer.

Thanks

Believe me, your E-Z-GO dealer is getting regular FSB (Field Service Bulletin) regarding the issues that are cropping up.

I can't give you specifics of the issues I have encountered because quite frankly, the issues are fleeting and usually dealt with by the Factory Branch. I take the cart to my former co-workers and they repair them and hand them back to me and let me know what they changed. I have been trained on repairing them, but I figure it's easier to let them deal with the warranty side of the issues for now.

Today was the day I knew was coming, and why I have been asking for more credible information. I was told to clean all the battery terminals.

Expectedly, when I mentioned I have heard otherwise on the Internet, that had zero credibility.

I pointed out that to do the job right for the entire fleet would take a while, maybe a week, and I suggested we start with the ones that have been dying, and see if that stops it.

He agreed.

We had another busy day, with many carts doing two rounds, so I will find out how it went in the morning.

Again, any credible information about RXV problems, and by credible I mean something where our Director of Golf can call or email and get it firtshand, would be appreciated.

Just adding . . . therfe are other reasons carts could be dying. Keys could be left on at night, carts could not get plugged in, batteries could be bad, chargers could be bad . . .

If battery terminal corrosion is a problem, like the EZ Go dealer says . . . why doesn't EZ Go do something at the factory to alleviate it . . . coat the battery terminals with petroleum jelly or spray them with terminal protector?
