Wonder if I could rig up one a recordable sound chip to the buzzer, have my wife record something telling me how to do it right and put that on in place of the backup alarm....

How about,
(in your best Alice Kramden (Honeymooners) voice),

"Why does it always seem that we're going backwards?"

Scotty, I'll get the PIC chips programmed with the right sayings, and we'll add them to your website... let's see... what can we do...

Then you can charge triple for "The Girlfriend" chip.... throw the cart in reverse and, well, maybe we better leave that to the imagination before I get banned

President of a company I worked for a while back loved practical jokes, so he was cool with this. We had a co-worker who would surf the NSFW sites before closing some days., so I changed the startup sound to a 90 second clip from a porno - we're talking some SERIOUS screaming going on. Turned his computer volume all the way up, turned his speakers all the way up, hid the speakers on the other side of his desk in his plant/tree, which meant he had to walk all the way around his desk, filing cabinet, etc just to get to them, disabled the volume control on the comptuer itself and waited.

He walks in, turns the comptuer on and goes to get coffee... while everyone else in the office is just standing there waiting (we all knew what was coming... sound comes on... I've never seen a middle aged guy move so fast... it was priceless

How about one of those irritating tunes the Good Humor ice cream trucks play?
All the kids in earshot will turn to see where it is coming from.
All the parents will "Duck and Cover"

The gas pedal in your car doesnt start it, and there's a lockout on the ignition so you cant start it in gear and yet, some idiots always find a way to do it!

so, thanks for calling all of us that have had incidents with it idiots. And welcome to the forum.

My brother had a car in the 80s that told you if the door was ajar, and to buckle the seatblet. He wanted to reprogram it to say, "sniff sniff, I smell that sh!t".
