Default Who’s kit? Any experience with this

Does anyone know who makes this kit?
Does anyone have any experience with install and running?
Looking for opinions.
Thanks.

Possibly looking to lift my Yamaha G16A

It is an All Sports 7" lift kit for a Yamaha. No I don't know anything about them I just found this on another web site

Some info here > http://www.cartpartsplus.com/yamaha-...ouble-arm.html

From what I've heard, it's a pretty good lift.

Thanks Doolin / Ron,
Do we know anyone who is running one of these? I’m curious if I can find an adjustable coil over shock to run with this so I can adjust the ride?

Since my wife is fighting me on the Workhorse lift, I'm considering lifting the Yamaha.

I'm looking to talk with Tom @ CPP next week about the long travel vs this kit. Just looking for some feedback from someone who is actually running one of these.

I have this one on my G9. we have reviewed it a couple of times. search on 7" dual a-arm. if your street riding or moderate trail it is ok. if you go hard you will bend it. see my video of the G9 and my wheelie. You will bend it at the kingpin on the bottom and the risers for the steering arms. One guy here welded on a extra 1/2" piece of steel to strengthen the kingpin area

the main thing is that you will be limited by the 3" travel stock shocks, you can put longer shocks on it and I have done this. So you can make it into a long travel but it is not made for it.
If you can afford the Jakes long travel or Terra toys i would go there. my G16 with long travel is MUCH nicer riding.

Ahhh, the first kit I ever installed. I bought the kit from BU and installed on a G2. My nephews have bent it in just about every way possible. The nice thing is that it bends back pretty easy too.
I installed it probably 3 years ago and it is about done. The steering is weak adn the pivot pins/bolts squeak. I think with some modification it could a nice kit. I'd start by adding bushing pivots to the A-arms. I can't speak for the Terra kit but I've had good luck with the Jakes. The long travel sure rides smoother.

Oh, don't forget you don't have any alignment adjustment with that kit. Jakes does and it looks like Terra kit does too.

You sure you want to lift it? I was just wishing I hadn't lifted mine. I've had 5 lifted carts though. Maybe I'm just ready for a lowered fast cart. I vote Jakes.
