Troubleshooting/testing a Taylor-Dunn 3620T charger?
Continuing with the rehabilitation of my 1973 Taylor-Dunn GT.361
Am needing to understand my charger, 3620T, which seems as vintage as the cart itself. The manual speaks of the open circuit voltage from the DC plug, and refers to the plate on the front of the charger. The plate states the open voltage output should be 33 VDC. Regardless of the AC voltage adjustment position, the highest I receive is 22.8 VDC, which I do not feel is "approximately that value shown", as stated in the manual. Is there something to do/troubleshoot? Can it be repaired, easily, in a straighforward manner, or is it a money pit, and I am better off buying a new charger? Appreciate the thoughts and input.
