Default 6Terminal solenoid chattering

Greetings, I am working on my G1a 36v maybe 1982?
With new 6 terminal White solenoids wired according to Yamaha diagram I get chattering from either one when I hit the throttle meaning the contacts are opencloseopenclose until I let up on the pedal but no tires turn in F or R any ideas? Thanks.

Bad battery, bad cable connection, something is allowing the voltage to go away when load is applied.

I did replace the only other battery that was questionable, rechecked all lead wires. At the pack I get 36.7 hit the pedal and it chatters, F or R . What else could it be? Thanks

Clip meter leads to main b+ and main b-. Observe voltage drop when pedal pressed. Report findings.

It started at 37v (just took a trickle charge off} within 3 seconds- 15v 5-sec.-10.9v and kinda hung there, that was floored.

2 out of 6 replaced due to failure in a short period of time. The other 4 will be gone real soon too. Mixing new and old batteries is throwing away money. The old batteries will cause ruin to the new batteries.

This is true, I tried to replace 3 and ended up returning all 6 (including the 3 new ones) in a vicious cycle over the course of 2 months.
